Thank you, Mr. Hor Meng Yew, for
your video of a gentleman trying to explain to us “The Science of Aging Well”.
The young gentleman in that video was trying to convince us how we can extend
our aging through 5 key points, namely through 1. good nutrition, 2. movement
and exercise, 3. sleep, 4. environmental and natural exposures stress vs. to
chronic stress, 5. community relationship.
I have written to explain how
caloric restrictions extend life span in the link below which is contrary to
that young gentleman advising us to eat more at old age.

There are a lot of similar videos
by other doctors and scientists attempting to explain other ways how we can
extend our lives and longevity.
In another separate news sent to me
a few days ago by Professor Andrew Charles Gomez, a well-known ENT surgeon, he
told us about a millionaire surgeon in Singapore who regretted his rich and
lifestyle ways of living when he had lung cancer. Here is his story:

Allow me to also explain why we all
need to age and die in the slides below I presented to the senior academic
staff of the University of Malaya many years ago.
The slide explanation is placed
right below another article called:
Did Queen Elizabeth II of England
die of Old Age?

Allow me now to give my opinion
from a much longer astronomical time scale in billions of years, and a distance
in light years ahead of us through my spiritual point of view.
If the Creation of the Universe
through the Big Bang was 13.8 billion years ago, and if our human life span at
maximum last for 100 years, then our lifespan last only 7.3 x
10 -9 (0.0,000,000,073) of this, and only 2.2 x 10 -8 (0.000,000,022)
of a fraction compared the creation of Earth
at 4.543 billion years.
Another way of putting this
is, if the age of the Universe at 13.8 billion years was just one day of
Creation, then 100 years of our lives lasts for just 0.23
second.
(1 Solar year = 31,557,600 seconds)
But if the age of Earth at
4.543 billion years was just one day in Creation, then 100 years of
our lives last for just 0.7 second.
Suppose we can live up to 1,000
years to beat even the record of Methuselah who was the son of Enoch,
the father of Lamech, and the grandfather of Noah. He was the oldest man ever
lived in the Bible who died at the age of 969 years.
Then Methuselah and our life if
lasted for 1,000 years is just 7.2 x 10 -8 (0.000,000,072)
of a fraction of the age of heavens since it was created, or 2.2 x 10 -7 (0.00,000,022)
of a fraction, compared to the age of the Earth.
Alternatively, 1,000 years of our
age as for Methuselah, lasted only 2.3 seconds if heavens were just a day (24
hours), or for only 7 seconds compared to the age of the Earth at
4.543 billion years old.
Suppose God created everything from
heavens to earth, including morning and evening on the sixth day as given in
Genesis 1:32. This is equivalent to 518,400 seconds (0.0164 year) for the
entire creation on the 6th day assuming the length of a day
during creation is the same as our current day and not shorter. For instance, a
day was 21.9 hours long some 620 million years ago due to the gravitational
influence of the Moon on tides that slowed down the rotation of the Earth due
to tidal frictions over the oceans and on land causing it to lose rotational
energy.
In such an event 13.8 billion years
to us for creation was just 6 days for God.
Simply put, what was just one
second in the eyes of God, would be 13.8 x 10 9 years /
0.0164 year = 4.35 x 10 17 / 518,400 seconds = 8.4 x
10 11 (840,000,000,000) years for us.
Allow me now to quote what God
revealed to us:
“But, beloved, be not
ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years,
and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8)
For a thousand years in thy
sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch
in the night (Psalm 90:4)
Does that ring the bell for us to
understand and always remember?
My advice to all is, it is much
wiser and wealthier for us to enrich our immortal souls for all eternity
through spiritual food and spiritual exercise than gathering short-term wealth
like that millionaire Singapore surgeon who regretted his mistakes he testified
in the link above or acquiring and practising all kind of knowledge on
nutrition, doing all kinds of physical exercises in this temporary world. There
is a way of enriching our soul and keeping it in good spiritual health forever
if we are interested?
Our soul into eternity is far, far
more important than our temporary physical stay here in this world but are we
interested?
Just remember this.
The very day we die here in this
world, is our birthday in another world. No use trying to prolong our life
here.
