Seek Not Physical Health or Wealth, but Eternal Wisdom for Our Souls

A vegan friend of mine who is a medical doctor advises us to be a vegan, and recently gave an example of a business tycoon in this country who became a vegetarian.

This may sound like good advice as far as promoting health and longevity especially for those who are exceedingly rich who may fear disease and death. The wealthy naturally are extremely worried when they die, they must, and have to completely leave behind everything they have - wealth, fame and powers while they still breathe in this world.

Unfortunately, death MUST come to everyone one day, whether we are rich or poor with completely no exception for anyone, notwithstanding we are vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters, food supplements consumers or patrons, purchasers and customers of medicines and potions for “eternal” health

See here for “magic potions”

Death is the final destiny for all as disease and death is no respecter of any human or any living creature that creeps on the surface of this planet

See the reasons here:

What one need to fear is this verse here:

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell"

(Matthew 10:28)

What we need to fear is that our souls are immortal, and they remember everything we do here on earth when the body dies. Here's an example Jesus has warned in Luke. Jesus is sinless and did not lie when he gave the example of the rich man and the poor man called Lazarus when they both died

"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.  At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

“The time came when the beggar died, and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So, he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, REMEMBER that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony.  And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us."

(Luke 16:19-26)

Verse 25 in Luke 16 clearly tells us our soul REMEMBERS all that we do and have when we were still in this world.

The soul exists and remembers here:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=soul+remembers

The physical body is like a whole functionable computer that has all the keys that write into the ram to store what we think and write temporarily there.

The ram represents our brain that temporarily stores the memories all we have, and have done here, while the hard disk permanently represents our souls that store all those memories permanently after being transferred from the ram.

So does the body copy and transfer every bit of information into our souls as evidence for or against us when we leave this world.

Even when the entire computer is old and 'dies' representing our physical body that dies of old age or disease, the memories stored in the pc hard disk are still there like all the memories from birth to the grave transferred and stored by our indestructible souls. See here for explanation. Those memories persist even on death, being transferred into our souls. See experiences here:

Hence, it would be far richer and more profitable for us to enrich our souls with spiritual wealth and wisdom that are eternal than seek temporary physical wealth we acquire even for a 100 year or more here on earth.  There is also completely no way we can try to resist disease and death ultimately by being a vegetarian or a vegan.

Even if we are completely a meat eater, smoke a lot, drink a lot, and do nothing else but laze around only to die at 60 with all kinds of lifestyle diseases, or we are a vegetarian, a complete vegan, exercise, mediate and destress ourselves a lot to extend our lives past 100 years disease-free, at the end of 60 or 100 years we still die. What then is our final objective?

"The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away"

(Psalm 90:10)

What purpose in life does it serve then if all those labours, struggles, difficulties, achievements in sorrows we put in for 120 years of our extended life were in vain if we were to fly away on death? The dead body literally cannot fly away of course, but it is our soul that left us and flew away, is what this verse clearly means. See this explanation below:

In short, it is far better for us to seek for guided spiritual wealth and wisdom that remains with us for all eternity, than to acquire all the wealth of this world for just a hundred years only to leave them all behind us when we die to allow the irreversible chemistry of death and bacteria to take over by devouring and disintegrating all our flesh leaving behind only our bones with no memory

See here what happens when we die:  The Irreversible Chemistry of Death:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=chemistry+of+death

The only way we can nourish this soul of ours is to seek wisdom in our prayers - ask for only for wisdom and guidance, and not knowledge from the universities we attended, least of all, ask for earthly wealth, name, power and fame for 120 years at most in our lives in this world.

When God appeared before King Solomon in his dream what he wanted, King Soloman asked for wisdom, and not wealth, and in so asking, God endowed him with both wisdom to rule over his kingdom plus wealth too that he did not ask

" And God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honour or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life; but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king.

(2 Chronicles 1:11-12)

Fascinating reality in life that none of us can carry with us to the next world on death. I enjoy every though of yours.

I have visited your country Malaysia twice, and I think it is a very beautiful country especially Penang where food is gorgeous. But I think Fraser Hill is more like here in Scotland during Early Spring Late Autumn.

What I want to ask you Dr Lim is, most people cannot see beyond this physical world unlike yourself with telescopic spiritual vision. Why are we so myopic like frogs in a well. Do you have any explanation for this?

What can we do when we all have to live in this world only to die one day leaving behind everything we have acquired. Do you have any solution for this delimma plaguing all of us
