Looking into the Future by Looking into the Past

 

 Further into my experience living away from home, when I was a student in India, communications between another country and home were so remote that I had no clue what was happening back home. I don’t even know when it was Chinese New Year, Hari Raya or Deepavali except Christmas and end of the year, and my birthday.

 

I was so home sick that I asked my father to send me old newspapers (Straits Times then) which were all 3 months old, and the news there were all way behind time by the time they arrived by post as my father needed to collect them daily for the whole month before sending them by post as a parcel.

 

Later when I went to England it was still the same. There was no contact from home as there was no instant electronic communication then. Everything had to be done by snail-paced post

 

Unlike children studying abroad these days, they are very lucky with hand phones, computers, Internet connections, emails, WhatsApp and all kinds of instant electronic communications that are transmitted across the world within 1 -2 seconds. They can even watch online videos what's happening at home 20,000 km away, across vast stretches of oceans, mountains, deserts, and continents as if they were there at home.  

 

But there is a very fatal catch. It signals we are nearer end times where communications are now so fast, with millions of people flying across oceans, mountains, and vast stretches of continents within hours every week, and where knowledge vastly increases via scientific research, Internet access, books, journals and publications besides social media and other communication platforms as clearly foretold here:   

 

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased”

 

(Daniel 12:4)

 

Sir David Attenborough, the famed British naturalist and television presenter, used harsh words for humanity. "We are a plague on the Earth,"

 

So do I totally see things with the same mind as him, as much as Jesus who also warned the generations to come:

We are truly the ONLY ANIMAL among some 10 million or more other species here on this Planet that destroys everything our Creator planted here.

 

But our time is fast coming when the entire humanity shall be wiped clean from the surface of this Earth, when the meek and humble creatures like bacteria and viruses shall once again run over and take control and inherit this Earth.

The only thing we are unable to tell is the exact date and time when Christ shall return before this Earth is destroyed.

 

“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”

 

(Revelation 16:15)

 

“But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into”

 

(Matthew 24:43)

 

Premillennialists believe that Christ will return to earth before the millennium to reign for 1,000 years more

 

^“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up”

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea”

 

(Revelation 21)

 

 

“But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” 

 

(Psalm 37:11 -)

 

 

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth”

 

(Matthew 5:5)

 

The microorganisms were the first to appear and they shall be the last to vanish away. Human animals were the last to surface, but they shall also be the first to vanish with all those properties they planted here on this planet. The meek bacteria of death shall then take joy in devouring all our flesh when we die:

This unfortunately shall also include all those politicians fighting with each other for temporary earthy powers everywhere
