Some Collections of Articles Concerning Creation, Mysteries of Life, Unexpalined Miracles, Body and Soul, and Death

Articles on Mysteries of Life, Soul and Death

A friend of mine sent me an article about life and death written by this gentleman, A. Kathirasen who wrote:

"When we die, do we really die?"

Is that all  we need to ponder on?

Here's just a short list of other thoughts and articles of mine  on this same subject .

I have  penned many more articles elsewhere on this subject. Have a look at this partial list first to ponder even much deeper on the mysteries of life and death than what Mr. Kathirasen was able to deliver.

Cherish our eternal souls, nourish and enrich them first that give us our

current existing life for our brief existence here, not enrich our

temporary physical life,  or our health or vain thirst for longevity here

in  this temporary world.

Seek wisdom to see beyond this physical dimension, not earthy

knowledge or wealth, and the rest shall be added

Good luck

Why Does People Cannot Understand Worlds Beyond Theirs: A Question A Reader Asked?

Dear Honey

Thank you for your comment and the question you posted below my article here:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/2022/12/seek-not-physical-health-or-wealth-but.html

What a sweet name you have, and I am sure you are very sweet as honey and charming in return for your sweet compliments about my unworthy self.

I am so happy you love my country. I hope you shall return many times over to explore many natural beauties and our people as Malaysians of difference races and cultures we have to offer you.

Okay, I really do not have those telescopic visions or sights you described of me. I am just an ordinary student so to speak, trying to learn.

I am like many people trying to visualize what lies beyond our world in another dimension, and I don’t think any of us can cross over to another world into another dimension to be certain except when we die.

Thank you anyway for your compliments.

I think most people are far too busy to bother what’s going on beyond this world. All they know is to earn a living in their daily lives for themselves and for their families, and that there are many stars in the sky.  But I don’t think they have any clue why there are so many stars on a clear night. Even I was able to see the Milky Way like a “River of Lights” from one end of the horizon to the other on only a few occasions due to our perpetually cloudy tropical skies.  I just watched at its immense beauty in awe, but I am unsure of others.

You can now imagine how many worlds are there in this Universe if you can imagine the Universe stretches from one end of heaven to the other 93 billion light years across. That’s 8.8 ^ 23 km (88 followed by 22 zeros) km across.

Within this space we estimate there may be as many as 100 trillion, trillion (1 followed by 26 zeros) other worlds out there we cannot even see with our most powerful ground-based telescopes, as well as dozens of orbiting space telescopes that includes gamma, x- rays, ultraviolet, visible, infrared, microwave and radio telescopes that work in multiple frequency bands

Space telescopes that collect particles, such as cosmic ray nuclei and/or electrons, as well as instruments that aim to detect gravitational waves, are also listed.

The Earth-based telescopes would include the Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC), that is the world’s largest optical telescope with a mirror diameter of 10.4 metres (34.1 feet) located at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory on La Palma (2,326 metres [7,631 feet]) in the Canary Islands of Spain.

The Tianyan or “Eye of Heaven” which is the world's largest single-dish radio telescope, is situated in a karst depression in Pingtang, Guizhou province in southwest China. All these telescopes combined give us much more knowledge about the heavens than before Galileo time, but still just a teeny-tiny bit compared to the hidden mysteries of this horrendously gigantic Universe

Despite the collective efforts by all these telescopes, we still have not detected any world like ours, and there is no way we can do this except discover new galaxies in the far reaches of this Observable Universe

At best we can detect exoplanets that are planets outside our Solar System by direct imaging, astrometry, radial velocity, transit event observation, and microlensing

The number of other worlds is so immeasurably huge that often I need to use sands in all the seashores in the world to compare. What we found was the number of worlds similar or dissimilar to ours in the Observable Universe is even far more than all the sands of this world.

For instance, if  we add more sands at 4.3 x 10^25 grains to cover up Earth up to 0.8 metres thick all over the surface of this Earth including beneath the oceans, and high up over the Himalaya range, not to say the deserts, this works out to be 1.2 X 10^26 / 4.3 x 10^25 = 2.8 times more stars in heaven than in all the sands on the seashores and deserts and elsewhere.

But if we confine the number of grains of sand to only the seashores of the world then the estimated number of grains of sand would be at 7.5 x 10^18 (seven quintillion, five hundred quadrillion).

This means the number of stars out number all the sands in all the seashores of the world by 67 times which is an awful lot

See details here:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=sands+on+earth

How then can we expect most people in this world except astronomers to understand the horrendous immensity of the Universe? Understandably, their only world is this teeny-teeny tiny, tiny world they live in, and that is far, far smaller than frogs living in a water well. There is absolutely no way they can have any physical vision, let alone spiritual vision, nether the knowledge nor the wisdom to understand the immense beauty of God, the Maker and Creator of all heavens

“I will bless thee, and I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand that is by the seashore: thy seed shall possess the gates of their …” (Genesis 22:17).

The Psalmist David in praise sang:

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1)

Even the most learned astronomer may have knowledge to understand the incalculably immensity of the Universe, but certainly not the spiritual wisdom to comprehend. At most, the most learned astronomer or cosmologist can only look in awe, but maybe cannot understand much unless given the guidance and wisdom by his Creator Himself. But they need to pray constantly and sincerely for this gift of wisdom, and not knowledge alone.

Having said that, a lot of learned people during Jesus’ time too could not understand even simple things in life until Jesus had to use illustrations and simple stories called parables to make them understand. The most glaring example was Nicodemus, the chief of the Jews, He was so learned that he could not understand the meaning of being born again. He thought it was a physical rebirth. Never did Nicodemus thought of a spiritual birth

Likewise, if I were to tell you that water is not require for life, you would immediately be surprised just like Jesus told the learned chief of the Jews Nicodemus that a man need to be born again to enter the kingdom of God.

In that narrative where Jesus told Nicodemus to be born again before he can enter heaven, here are the verses in John 3:3–15

Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”

3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So, it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

9 “How can this be?” Nicodemus asked.

10 “You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus, “and do you not understand these things? 11 Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still, you people do not accept our testimony. 12 I have spoken to you of earthly things, and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? 13 No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man. 14 Just as Moses lifted the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

You can see now the importance of spiritual knowledge and spiritual wisdom, and not all those knowledge we gained from universities

You would immediately argue how can that be when everyone including scientists and the layman all agree and know  that water is crucially important for the existence of life, so important that when astronomers and astrobiologists  explore the  Moon, Mars or any  extrasolar planets, the first criterion they look for is the existence of water in that planet in a concept called the Goldilocks Zone in which  the orbital range of a planet  around a star must not be too hot or too cold  on the planetary surface and the atmospheric pressure must be right so that liquid water can be found to support life.

Sometimes the Goldilocks Zone is called the circumstellar habitable zone or habitable zone. However, this is true in as far as life elsewhere outside this world is based exactly on the same requirements and principles as we know them here on Earth. But is this necessary out of some 100 trillion, trillion other worlds out there across 93 billion light years in diameter within our Observable Universe, that they too must follow exactly what we know here, especially on the existence of life and water in their worlds? Who do we think we are that they need to follow us here?

Likewise, if I were to tell you that water is not required for life, you would immediately be surprised just like Jesus told the learned chief of the Jews Nicodemus that a man needs to be born again to enter the kingdom of God.

But unfortunately, as a scientist and a research doctor myself I do not think I need to follow the thinking of other scientists, astonomers, astrobiologists or anybody at all that it is necessary  for water to be present for life to exist elsewhere. Here’s my explanation:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=water+and+life

Another more important reason why most people cannot see and understand is because we become spiritually blind asking and seeking for the wrong desires such asking for wealth, power, longevity and good physical health instead of asking for forgiveness, guidance and wisdom...

Remember, in Gibeon, God appeared to King Solomon in a dream asked him what he wanted, Solomon asked for wisdom, and God gave him both wisdom and wealth to rule over his people.

“And God said unto him, because thou hast asked this thing (wisdom), and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies; but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment.

Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.

And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days”.

(1 Kings 3:1-13 KJV)

Another more important reason why most people cannot see and understand is because we become spiritually blind asking and seeking for the wrong desires such asking for wealth, power, longevity and good physical health instead of asking for forgiveness, guidance and wisdom...

Remember, in Gibeon, God appeared to King Solomon in a dream and asked him what he wanted, Solomon asked for wisdom, and God gave him both wisdom and wealth to rule over his people.

And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days”.

(1 Kings 3:1-13 KJV).

Hence, in answering your question, it depends on what we ask God in our daily prayers. Naturally most people will crave and ask for wealth and long life instead of seeking spiritual wealth and wisdom, unto them none will be given, and they will remain spiritually blind.

That probably is why most people cannot see beyond this physical world, and why are we so myopic like frogs in a well as you said.

I too looked in awe at the Intelligent Designer’s handiwork of His Science and His Creation, and I realize I know little.

That’s why I prefer to invest in my eternal spiritual soul to enrich it so that I can understand better, rather than be myopic with earthly riches or earthly knowledge that pale into emptiness against the vastness and wealth of heavens

I hope I have answered, and thank you once again for your comment and question

Seek Not Physical Health or Wealth, but Eternal Wisdom for Our Souls

A vegan friend of mine who is a medical doctor advises us to be a vegan, and recently gave an example of a business tycoon in this country who became a vegetarian.

This may sound like good advice as far as promoting health and longevity especially for those who are exceedingly rich who may fear disease and death. The wealthy naturally are extremely worried when they die, they must, and have to completely leave behind everything they have - wealth, fame and powers while they still breathe in this world.

Unfortunately, death MUST come to everyone one day, whether we are rich or poor with completely no exception for anyone, notwithstanding we are vegetarians, vegans, meat-eaters, food supplements consumers or patrons, purchasers and customers of medicines and potions for “eternal” health

See here for “magic potions”

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=elixir+

See here also the meaning and measurements of health:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/2022/10/the-meaning-and-measurements-of-health.html

Death is the final destiny for all as disease and death is no respecter of any human or any living creature that creeps on the surface of this planet

See the reasons here:

The Biology of Aging: Why do we get old and die:

https://sg.docworkspace.com/l/sINyoyYK9AdW4_psG

What one need to fear is this verse here:

"And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell"

(Matthew 10:28)

What we need to fear is that our souls are immortal, and they remember everything we do here on earth when the body dies. Here's an example Jesus has warned in Luke. Jesus is sinless and did not lie when he gave the example of the rich man and the poor man called Lazarus when they both died

"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day.  At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

“The time came when the beggar died, and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried.

In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. So, he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’

“But Abraham replied, ‘Son, REMEMBER that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here, and you are in agony.  And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us."

(Luke 16:19-26)

Verse 25 in Luke 16 clearly tells us our soul REMEMBERS all that we do and have when we were still in this world.

The soul exists and remembers here:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=soul+remembers

The physical body is like a whole functionable computer that has all the keys that write into the ram to store what we think and write temporarily there.

The ram represents our brain that temporarily stores the memories all we have, and have done here, while the hard disk permanently represents our souls that store all those memories permanently after being transferred from the ram.

So does the body copy and transfer every bit of information into our souls as evidence for or against us when we leave this world.

Even when the entire computer is old and 'dies' representing our physical body that dies of old age or disease, the memories stored in the pc hard disk are still there like all the memories from birth to the grave transferred and stored by our indestructible souls. See here for explanation. Those memories persist even on death, being transferred into our souls. See experiences here:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=persistence+of+memory

Hence, it would be far richer and more profitable for us to enrich our souls with spiritual wealth and wisdom that are eternal than seek temporary physical wealth we acquire even for a 100 year or more here on earth.  There is also completely no way we can try to resist disease and death ultimately by being a vegetarian or a vegan.

Even if we are completely a meat eater, smoke a lot, drink a lot, and do nothing else but laze around only to die at 60 with all kinds of lifestyle diseases, or we are a vegetarian, a complete vegan, exercise, mediate and destress ourselves a lot to extend our lives past 100 years disease-free, at the end of 60 or 100 years we still die. What then is our final objective?

"The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away"

(Psalm 90:10)

What purpose in life does it serve then if all those labours, struggles, difficulties, achievements in sorrows we put in for 120 years of our extended life were in vain if we were to fly away on death? The dead body literally cannot fly away of course, but it is our soul that left us and flew away, is what this verse clearly means. See this explanation below:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=soul+faster+than+light

In short, it is far better for us to seek for guided spiritual wealth and wisdom that remains with us for all eternity, than to acquire all the wealth of this world for just a hundred years only to leave them all behind us when we die to allow the irreversible chemistry of death and bacteria to take over by devouring and disintegrating all our flesh leaving behind only our bones with no memory

See here what happens when we die:  The Irreversible Chemistry of Death:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=chemistry+of+death

The only way we can nourish this soul of ours is to seek wisdom in our prayers - ask for only for wisdom and guidance, and not knowledge from the universities we attended, least of all, ask for earthly wealth, name, power and fame for 120 years at most in our lives in this world.

When God appeared before King Solomon in his dream what he wanted, King Soloman asked for wisdom, and not wealth, and in so asking, God endowed him with both wisdom to rule over his kingdom plus wealth too that he did not ask

" And God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honour or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life; but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king.

(2 Chronicles 1:11-12)

Looking into the Future by Looking into the Past

Further into my experience living away from home, when I was a student in India, communications between another country and home were so remote that I had no clue what was happening back home. I don’t even know when it was Chinese New Year, Hari Raya or Deepavali except Christmas and end of the year, and my birthday.

I was so home sick that I asked my father to send me old newspapers (Straits Times then) which were all 3 months old, and the news there were all way behind time by the time they arrived by post as my father needed to collect them daily for the whole month before sending them by post as a parcel.

Later when I went to England it was still the same. There was no contact from home as there was no instant electronic communication then. Everything had to be done by snail-paced post

Unlike children studying abroad these days, they are very lucky with hand phones, computers, Internet connections, emails, WhatsApp and all kinds of instant electronic communications that are transmitted across the world within 1 -2 seconds. They can even watch online videos what's happening at home 20,000 km away, across vast stretches of oceans, mountains, deserts, and continents as if they were there at home.

But there is a very fatal catch. It signals we are nearer end times where communications are now so fast, with millions of people flying across oceans, mountains, and vast stretches of continents within hours every week, and where knowledge vastly increases via scientific research, Internet access, books, journals and publications besides social media and other communication platforms as clearly foretold here:

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased”

(Daniel 12:4)

Sir David Attenborough, the famed British naturalist and television presenter, used harsh words for humanity. "We are a plague on the Earth,"

So do I totally see things with the same mind as him, as much as Jesus who also warned the generations to come:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=over+population

“Daughters of Jerusalem do not weep for me; weep for yourselves and for your children. For the time will come when you say, 'Blessed are the childless women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!

(Luke 23:28-31)

We are truly the ONLY ANIMAL among some 10 million or more other species here on this Planet that destroys everything our Creator planted here.

But our time is fast coming when the entire humanity shall be wiped clean from the surface of this Earth, when the meek and humble creatures like bacteria and viruses shall once again run over and take control and inherit this Earth.

The only thing we are unable to tell is the exact date and time when Christ shall return before this Earth is destroyed.

“Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”

(Revelation 16:15)

“But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into”

(Matthew 24:43)

Premillennialists believe that Christ will return to earth before the millennium to reign for 1,000 years more

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up”

(2 Peter 3:10)

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea”

(Revelation 21)

“But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”

(Psalm 37:11 -)

“Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth”

(Matthew 5:5)

The microorganisms were the first to appear and they shall be the last to vanish away. Human animals were the last to surface, but they shall also be the first to vanish with all those properties they planted here on this planet. The meek bacteria of death shall then take joy in devouring all our flesh when we die:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=chemistry+of+death

This unfortunately shall also include all those politicians fighting with each other for temporary earthy powers everywhere
