Spiritual Meaning of 'Left Behind' vs 'Late' to decribe Someone Deceased

 I was at the grocery shop just less than 20 minutes ago when I accidentally bumped into an old patient of mine whom I saw for over 15 years. She happily greeted me, but I hardly could remember or recognize her anymore, neither her name. She has changed slightly when I tried to recall. Surprisingly, she recognizes me.

During our conversation, she told me how her late sister passed away together with her husband in an accident on the way to Kuantan some years ago leaving behind 4 young children, two of whom she looked after. Her sister and husband too were my patients. I felt sorry for them, but I did not comment on a particular word she mentioned that ran through my mind. I did not agree with her on that word.

 Since I did not have my smartphone with me, I immediately came back home to check on the word “late” most people use to describe someone who has already decreased.

I agree with the phrase “left behind” she uses to describe her sister and 4 young children. Indeed, this has a deep and hidden spiritual meaning most people could not see or interpret. The word ‘late’ and the phrase ‘left behind’ are contradictory in meaning to each other. Let me explain.

When we say someone has died and left behind so many children or grandchildren, it means at least spiritually to me, his or her soul has flown away well ahead of time and in advance to meet his or her Maker (God), leaving behind everyone still physically living here in this world. In such a scenario how can a physically deceased person be addressed as “late”?

It may be possible for a slow late comer to leave something behind, but it is even more likely for someone who suddenly flew away to abruptly leave behind all his material earthly possessions including his family.

Not just abruptly flies away, but I believe his soul flies even faster than the speed of light since I am strongly convinced that the soul has no mass unlike light that has energy but no mass.

The Special Relativity Theory of Einstein states that nothing can travel faster than light in a vacuum. It is also said that light consists of particles called photons that have energy and momentum but the photons themselves are “massless”. But has a soul mass and energy? We shall look into this later.

Einstein to me may have contradicted himself because he also showed there is a relationship between energy and mass from his famous equation E = mc2, where E = energy output, m = mass, c, is the velocity of light.

 Hence, if we look at this equation, light may have not just energy, but mass as well since energy cannot exist without mass, or mass exists without energy.

If we look at his equation carefully, mass and energy are interchangeable. One gram of mass when completely destroyed would yield a stupendous 8.99 x 10 16 Joules of energy.

We can see that when only a tiny bit of mass can yield such a tremendous amount of energy, what if light that has so little amount of energy, its mass will pale into almost nothingness. This may also explain why light can travel so fast since it has so little or no mass to carry. So, if a soul has no mass, could it not travel even faster than light?

But how much energy is being carried by a single photon? Let’s have a look.  The amount of energy of light is directly proportional to the photon's electromagnetic frequency (f), but it also inversely proportional to the wavelength (λ) meaning, the longer the photon's wavelength, the lower its energy being carried by a single photon.

Thus, the photon energy may be given in two alternative equations:

1.   E = hf

where:

E = energy

h is the Planck constant (6.62607015×10−34 joule-hertz−1 or joule-seconds).

f is the frequency of light

2.  Alternatively, we use the second formula:

 E = hc / λ

where:

E = photon energy

h = Planck constant

c = speed of light in a vacuum (299 792 458 m / s)

λ = photon wavelength

For example:

The photon energy of light at 1 Hz (299,792,458 m)

Planck constant x speed of light in a vacuum / wavelength of light

= (6.62607015×10−34 joule-hertz−1 or joule-seconds) x 299 792 458 m per sec / 299,792,458 m (1 Hz)

= 6.62607015 x 10-34 Joule

 Let us now take just 3 examples, red, green and violet light to represent the spectrum of the 7 colours of white light.

1.   Photon energy of red light with a wavelength at 650 nm (6.5 x 10 -7 m)

= 6.62607015×10−34 x 299 792 458 / 6.5 x 10 -7 m = 3.1 x 10 -19 Joule

Alternatively:  h (Planck constant) x f (frequency in Hz of red light at 650 nm) = 6.62607015×10 −34 (h) x 4.62 x 10 14 Hz = 3.1 x 10 -19 Joule

2.   Photon energy of green light (hf)

 = 6.62607015×10 −34 (h) x 5.45 x 10 14 Hz = 3.6 x 10 -19 Joules

3.   Photon energy of violet light = 6.62607015×10 −34 (h) x 7.50 x 10 14 Hz = 4.9 x 10 -19 Joules

Broadly, one photon of white light contains only about 10 - 19 Joules or only 0.000,000,000,000, 000,0001 Joules. Another way to express this is, if one gram of matter is completed disintegrated, it yields,

8.99 x 10 16 / 10 -19 = 8.99 x 10 35 (900 billion, trillion, trillion) times more energy than a photon of white light

The amount of energy light has would be so insignificant that we can say light has very little or almost no mass at all. Theoretically, the mass of a single photon would be 10 – 19 / (299,792,458) 2 = 1.1 x 10 -36 gm

The mass of a hydrogen atom is 1.66 x 10 -24 gm. This makes a single photon of light 6.7 x 10 -13 (0.00,000,000,000,067) times lighter than even a hydrogen atom.

This may enable it to travel at 299 792 458 m per sec into space in a vacuum without carrying little or no mass.

But what about our soul that has completely no mass? Using this same mathematical logic, I reckon it may even be able to fly to another world tens of millions of light years away far faster than light without carrying any mass or material burden.

Revelation 6:9-11 reveals this to us:

“When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying, "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.”

This may also explain the traditional and cultural belief that when we die our souls fly away into the next world leaving everything behind including all our children, grandchildren and relatives.

After all, if the length of our life existence here in this world was 100 years at maximum, this last for only 0.2286 of one second, compared to 13.8 billion years if it was represented by one day heavens and earth were created and have lasted that long in the eyes of God as given in Genesis in the Bible

So why do we need to gather unnecessary material wealth here on earth in that infinitesimal short length of time “where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal” to burden ourselves to keep and maintain instead of laying treasures in heaven for all eternity “where thieves do not break through nor steal” (Matthew 6:19-21).

“The days of our years are threescore years and ten; And if by reason of strength they be fourscore years. Yet is their strength labour and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we FLY AWAY” (Psalm 90:10).

Of course, a dead person cannot fly away. This verse clearly hints to us there is something more than a physical body that gives it life that flies away when only the body is left behind.

This has been explained, but it is well-hidden from the eyes of most people who are spiritually blind. If we were to carry material possessions in life to burden and labour ourselves into the sorrows of longevity, it would be far more blessed and blissful if we were to die young sinless and without material burdens to drag along.

No wonder the wisdom and truth of this proverb:

“Whom the god loves dies young”.

(Lord Byron)

 We are being carried by time along a conveyor’s belt till we drop inside a deep dark chasm at the end of the tunnel before the continuity of the belt rises up again into the next tunnel into a new world and a new life. There in the next segment of this belt and tunnel our eternal soul wears a new body. See explanation here:

https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/search?q=conveyor

According to a Google search, “we use the term late, to mean dead, before someone’s name, to show that they’ve passed away, aka is no longer with us. It’s a respectful way of acknowledging that they’re no longer here among the living and that their time on this earth has ended which has been used since at least 1490”.

https://english.stackexchange.com/questions/384034/origin-of-the-usage-of-late-to-mean-deceased

But in my interpretation, those deceased have already left and flown far, far, far away ahead of us while we are still physically stuck here on this earth.  They can never be late. This means the deceased should never be addressed as “late” once they have left.

 In my knowledge and spiritual understanding having thought and written this, it is us who are late in leaving. It was probably for a better world for those who left earlier among the unspeakable myriads of stars out there than to remain here.

It was my patient whom I accidentally bumped into a short while ago who gave me this spiritual food and vision to quickly come back to the house to pen this down.

I read with tremendous interest all your articles especially about the mystery of life, all of them benefitted and interest me a lot. Gives us tremendous amounts of food for spiritual thoughts.

May I ask you a very difficult question in astronomy that has always puzzled me when scientists say that a black hole is so dense that even light cannot escape. How is it possible for a star to be so dense that light cannot escape from it? Is there a way to prove this

I hope you can prove this is possible for us. Waiting for your answer in anticipation

Thank you
