On Monday, November 4, 2024, I wrote out Part 1 of this thought of mine:
The Healing Mystery of
Jesus: Glory to God to The Highest (Part 1).
https://scientificlogic.blogspot.com/2024/11/the-mystery-of-healing-of-jesus-glory.html
In the above Part 1, I wrote about chi energy or some kind of life -giving and healing forces Jesus may have infused those who were sick who went to Him.
As a follow-up in Part 2 today, I come up with a similar idea how this same universal cosmic force may have given life on earth. Have a look at this hypothesis.
In May 1953 Miller–Urey experiment was able to produce
racemic mixtures of biomolecules such as amino acids were proof that the building blocks of life could be synthesized
abiotically from gases and introduced a new prebiotic chemistry framework
through which to study the origin of life. Possibly the primordial oceans
around 3.8 billion years ago were filled with random combinations of many of
these amino acids together with nucleotides and nucleic acids containing nitrogen-containing
bases, phosphate groups, and sugar molecules due to lightning, ultraviolet and
other radiation to give rise to these biomolecules – the nucleotides playing
the key role in the storage of genetic
information in the nucleus of the cell. Nucleotides are the building blocks
that go into making up nucleic acids. Nucleotides are monomers.
Similarly, simulations of protein sequences present in the last universal common ancestor (LUCA), or the last shared ancestor of all extant species today, show an enrichment in simple amino acids that were available in the prebiotic environment according to Miller-Urey chemistry. This suggests that the genetic code from which all life evolved was rooted in a smaller suite of amino acids than those used today.
Although creationist arguments focus on
the fact that Miller–Urey experiments have not generated all
22 genetically-encoded amino acids, this does not actually conflict
with the evolutionary perspective on the origin of life.
However, as I am familiar with chemistry, biochemistry, biological sciences, and modern medicine in my undergraduate, especially in evolutionary biology where I read a postdoctoral course at Cambridge, even if we have
the presence of all the 22 essential amino acids floating in the ancient oceans this does not mean there were life them, not until the Spirit of God hovered over the surface
of the waters to infuse life into those biomolecules
“The earth was without
form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And
the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters” (Genesis 1:2)
If this hypothesis I
envisage is spiritually and scientifically correct, and we need to accept it, then it makes instant sense. This becomes far
easier for us now to explain the origin of life on earth that has battled the best
scientific minds for centuries.
In essence, what I am trying to drive in is, it is not just
the chemistry that powers life, but there must be a higher force – an
unmeasurable ‘vital force’ (possibly the life-giving energy of an Almighty God) that may have triggered these smart biomolecules into living
molecules. This is again reinforced by this verse
“And the Lord
God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
breath of life; and man became a living soul” (Genesis 2:7)
If this theory is
acceptable, we can expect life forces to be prevalent in other worlds too –
some 100 trillion, trillion (1 followed by 26 zeros) throughout the expanse of
the Universe, possibly permeating in between the intergalactic spaces along
with time, space, along with life-giving and life-destructive radiations as
there is always yin and yang across the entire creation
Having explained that, we can go back to the miracles of Jesus with His unspeakable powers to cure diseases in this world and even raise up the dead by just His touch or His command during His time over 2,000 years ago. I believe this is the same principles touch healing use today where healers merely use their hands to transfer their own body healthy living life forces or chi forces, or vital forces (vitalism) in into the body of those who were sick. In touch therapy touch healers hover their hands over the patients to transfer the living chi energy from his or her body to the sick patient exactly as what Jesus did by just His touch. The only difference is, our modern touch therapists have much, much weaker chi energy than Jesus possessed that was vested into Him from another world by God, His heavenly Father. Jesus possibly acquired this power during His 18 missing years on Earth. He must have left this earth during those missing years to another world to be vested with such powers before returning to Earth to perform His first miracle at the wedding in Canna where He instantly converted barrels of water into wine.
Jesus system of medicine even as far back as over 2,000 years ago is tens of thousands of light years ahead of our surgical-cut-and let, and drug-based medicine. He did not even need to investigate first, take medical history, clerk a lot of clinical notes, diagnose before treating. It makes us look our system very primitive.
Today, touch therapist
after transferring his or her healing chi energy into the patient, recharges his / her body from the forests or environment. I have already written an
account on this in my blog
It is interesting to note how Jesus was transfigured when He went up a mountain to recharge Himself with some kind of life-giving energy like a rechargeable battery after having spent quite a bit of His time healing multitudes of people earlier. I believe He was recharged with healing forces where in verses 2 Matthew 17 it was written His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light during His charging time, I believe in Him.
Let me quote the verses from Matthew 17 on The Transfiguration:
17 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.
4 Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you wish, I will put up three shelters—one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah.”
5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
6 When the disciples heard this, they fell facedown to the ground, terrified. 7 But Jesus came and touched them. “Get up,” he said. “Don’t be afraid.” 8 When they looked up, they saw no one except Jesus.
9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Don’t tell anyone what you have seen, until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”
10 The disciples asked him, “Why then do the teachers of the law say that Elijah must come first?”
11 Jesus replied, “To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. 12 But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way the Son of Man is going to suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.
Jesus Heals a Demon-Possessed Boy
14 When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.”
17 “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” 18 Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.
19 Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?”
20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
I know of a Malay friend who is an O & G medical specialist who practises qigong, and he uses qigong to treat his patients even though he is very highly qualified medical specialist. But he is quite unwilling to use it to treat cancer patients because he told me cancer will drain a lot of qi out from his body.
However, in Japan and South Korea doctors treating cancer patients advise their patients to go to stay in the forest for forest bathing where they can get a lot of qi from the trees. According to television documentaries my wife told me many cancer patients were cured through forest bathing.
Vital forces or vitalism in health and disease in us is not new. The school of scientific thought—the germ of which dates from Aristotle—that attempt (in opposition to mechanism and organicism) to explain the nature of life as resulting from a vital force peculiar to living organisms and different from all other forces found outside living things. This force is held to control form and development and to direct the activities of the organism.
Vitalism has lost flavour as the chemical and physical nature of health and diseases became more popular, resulting in the use of chemical drugs derived from petrochemicals introduced by Rockefeller who advocated and hotly promoted his petroleum products as medicines for making money here:
I have studied medicine,
and I know about diseases and pharmacology. I know how drugs work. I have written a few articles on pharmacology here in this blog. But I think it
is ridiculous to use chemicals as “medicines” or drugs to temporarily block,
inhibit or to replace a living and flowing chemical pathology of a disease when
the root causes of the disorder is not addressed. I believe even the root
causes of the disease can be blocked by chi energy if we know how to harness
them
My personal reflections
without regret beautifully connect science, theology, and holistic
medicine in a unified view of life and healing. The Miller-Urey experiment I mention here earlier, indeed laid the groundwork for thinking about how life's building blocks could
have formed in a primordial Earth, but as I pointed out, the leap from chemical
precursors to living entities remains elusive without invoking a vital force or
creative energy. The biblical verses I shared, such as Genesis 1:2 and Genesis
2:7, reinforce the idea of life as more than mere chemistry, emphasizing an
infusion of spirit or divine energy.
This is in tune with the
ancient belief in vitalism, which holds that a life force unique to living
beings organizes and animates matter, a view that many traditional healers, as
well as modern energy therapies, still embrace. Jesus’ healing ministry,
especially when considered through the lens of chi or universal life energy,
makes parallel with this idea. The power He demonstrated may indeed parallel
modern energy healing practices, albeit on a far grander scale, suggesting that
His connection to a divine source provided Him with an unparalleled reservoir
of life-giving energy.
The Transfiguration, with
its account of Jesus’ appearance changing on the mountain, is especially
interesting as a moment of divine “recharging.” It suggests a visible
transformation that connects well with my own idea of Jesus drawing upon
universal or cosmic energy, and even reflects how some traditions today believe
in “recharging” in nature or other sacred spaces. This moment, and the profound
energy it seems to represent, would also underscore how chi energy or divine
force could be a real, measurable phenomenon—perhaps one day understood in a
scientific way that bridges the spiritual and the material.
Regarding modern medicine,
I bring forward an essential critique. While Western medicine has made
significant advances, there’s much to explore about how natural, vital energy
could balance or heal the body at its root level. This also brings to light the
ancient healing traditions that focus on restoring balance and flow in the body
rather than only treating symptoms. The Rockefeller influence on modern
medicine did indeed shift focus on pharmaceuticals, often at the expense of
these more holistic approaches.
Part 2 of this essay highlighting my hypothesis is compelling for me even as a former medical research scientist, where I blend spiritual
insights with the science of life’s origins and healing. It suggests that
life—and health—might require more than molecules; they may need a unifying
force or spirit, an aspect that complements both biblical teachings and many
healing traditions.
For my readers who believe
in my trust, I have woven a rich, layered interpretation that bridges faith and
science, a thought-provoking perspective for them, especially to medical
doctors who are basically clinicians who could inspire new ways of understanding
life’s true nature.
Thank you so very much to
those who have read my Part 1 thoughts earlier for their encouraging words in line
with my spiritual faith, else I will be fired by my own medical and scientific
community. At least I have friends to backup my thoughts. I think using
pharmaceuticals that are actually chemicals to alter the chemical course of a
pathology introduced by Rockefeller make our system of medicine very illogical
and very primitive and backwards, compared to the system of medicine Jesus
showed us over 2,000 years ago which was already tens of thousands of light
years more advanced than our petroleum-based and chemical drug system of medicine. Jesus did not use even one
drop of petrol to treat. How did He do it? Thank you so much to Jesus for showing us the way - just Your Hands or command, no petroleum-based chemical drug needed.
Hopefully my thoughts would bring a fresh, courageous perspective to medicine and healing in noting the remarkable contrast between ancient holistic approaches—rooted in a natural, spiritual understanding of life—and the pharmaceutical path that modern medicine has heavily relied on, often driven by corporate interests rather than holistic wellness.
My words highlight a profound point: if Jesus demonstrated a form of
healing beyond chemicals, it calls us to consider a paradigm where medicine
harmonizes with natural, life-giving forces, rather than trying to override or
suppress them.
My comparison to Jesus’
healing—using no chemicals or synthetic means—illustrates a vision of medicine
that is still leagues ahead of our time. It points toward an approach that
honours the body’s inherent wisdom and perhaps even a universal energy that empowers
true healing. This standpoint could inspire more open-minded discussions about
integrating energy-based and holistic methods, grounded in a respect for the
deep intelligence within life itself.
In the end, my personal
commitment to rethinking medicine as therapist-clinician-scientist myself, reflects a truly forward-looking approach
that holds the potential for advancements far beyond the limits of
pharmaceuticals.
