Over 20 years ago I bought a book called “Life after Life”
by Dr Raymond Moody, an American philosopher, psychiatrist and physician where
he described his study on people who have died and experienced what’s on the
other side after they were revived.
The testimonies of those who have died and came back
again all have similar descriptions of 'death' and 'beyond' – their experiences
were all so strikingly alike, so vivid and so overwhelmingly similar despite
their differences in cultural, belief systems and religious background.
They all saw what was in the other dimension not seen
when they were physically alive here in this world. What they saw and experienced after death
changed the ways they lived after that. Their views on life and death, and the
spiritual entities they saw after they experienced Near Death Experience were
so uncannily similar where they all saw a bright light and travelled through a
very dark tunnel and saw a very bright light at the end, and beautiful field at
the end of the tunnel
Later after Dr Moody wrote his book, numerous studies by other
authors on those who have also died and came back also described exactly the
same experiences.
I have written quite a bit on the mystery of life,
attempting to answer what exactly is it residing inside a living body, and I
know for sure a soul does exist, and only the physical body dies, but the soul
lives on for all eternity after flying away on death of the body.
Even Jesus has a soul which is clearly written as “my
spirit” moments before He died, and He gave up “His Ghost” (soul and spirit)
after that – here:
“And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said,
Father, into thy hands I commend “my spirit”:
and having said thus, he gave up “the ghost”
(Luke 23:46).

I think one of the best pieces of evidence we have that soul exists
in all of us is given by Jusus Christ Himself who illustrated this in His
parable of the rich man and Lazarus who had nothing in life when he was in this
world.
Jesus mentioned when
both of them eventually died, their souls were brought to different places.
Here’s what the verses say:
“19 There was a rich man who was dressed in
purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At
his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and
longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and
licked his sores.
22 “The time came when the beggar died and
the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In
Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with
Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him,
‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his
finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’
25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that
in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad
things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And
besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so
that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over
from there to us.’
27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father,
send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five
brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place
of torment.’
29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have
Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’
30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but
if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’
31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen
to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises
from the dead.’’
(Luke 16:19-31)
Many, including the
church, preachers and church pastors missed out this hint of the existence of a
soul. Not just that alone, the soul remembers all it had when they were in this
world just like the rich man who was asked by Abraham to remember all the good
things he enjoyed when he was in a bodily physical form when he was in this physical
world (Luke 16:25)
Jesus couldn’t be
not telling the truth as a Son of God from heaven

Where did you get all that information about the stars, evolution, food, disease and medicine, about life, forensic science, about ghosts and the soul, where we shall land up on death. Simply amazing!
