Thank you for the video on the "missing years of Jesus" This was sent to me in a WhatsApp chat yesterday. We can get at least a dozen similar videos ourselves on "the missing years of Jesus" from Google.
I don't think I need anyone or any videos like this one to explain to me where Jesus went during those years between 12 to about 30 years of age; that is about 18 years of His life missing somewhere in this world.
There are so many similar videos from Google, some claim He went to India, Tibet, Egypt, Ethiopia, and some said He even went to Europe. All of them just speculate Jesus was missing somewhere from this world. He was born in Bethlehem, later spent His childhood in Nazareth which is the current Israel, and briefly fled to Egypt after birth to escape King Herod's orders to kill the male infants in Bethlehem.
All these video claims and other theories of His missing 18 years from 12 to about 30 years of age were centred around these regions of this world. Others speculate Jesus even went to England, but they did not tell us how Jesus managed to cross the English Channel from France into England during those days when there was no modern ferry like presently. All these claims are worldly and earth-based explanations, all of them assuming He was still in this world, but missing somewhere on Earth - but where? Thank you anyway for this video you sent to us, as well as all other video claims
I don't think I need all these explanations because I am capable of thinking independently and analysing this mystery myself. Just remember, Jesus is the Son of God. He was physically born in this world but His spirit is from another world.
In John 18:36 Jesus explicitly told the Roman governor Pontius Pilate this "my kingdom is not of this world" whether we interpret this literally, spiritually, politically or even militarily.
Also remember, this earth is not the only world in this universe. Let me give a rough breakdown how many other worlds are there in the universe - other than this world of ours - a teeny-tiny speck in a vast, vast cosmic ocean.
The observable universe contains an estimated
2 trillion galaxies and an estimated 300 sextillion (3 x 10²³) planets. The total universe is likely much larger, and potentially infinite.
Here is my detailed breakdown on the number of worlds in heaven (universe)
Galaxies
Astronomers estimate the number of galaxies in the observable universe by studying small, deep-field images of the sky and extrapolating the results. The current estimates vary, but generally fall within a wide range:
Estimated number: Between 200 billion and 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe.
Current consensus: A widely accepted estimate, based on a 2016 study using Hubble Space Telescope data, is approximately 2 trillion. This number is higher than earlier estimates (around 100-200 billion) because it accounts for many faint and distant galaxies that current telescopes cannot directly observe.
The Total Universe: The actual size of the entire universe is unknown and may be infinite. If the universe is infinite, then the total number of galaxies would also be infinite.
Other Worlds (Planets)
The number of planets, specifically exoplanets (planets outside our solar system), is also an estimate based on extrapolation from discoveries within our own galaxy:
Confirmed Exoplanets: As of September 2025, NASA has confirmed the existence of over 6,000 exoplanets in our Milky Way galaxy. Thousands more candidates are awaiting confirmation.
Planets in the Milky Way: The Milky Way is estimated to contain between 100 to 400 billion stars, with an average of at least one or two planets per star system. This suggests there could be billions, and possibly as many as six billion Earth-like planets, in our galaxy alone.
Total Planets in the Universe: By multiplying the number of galaxies (2 trillion) by the estimated number of stars per galaxy (~100 billion) and the average number of planets per star system, scientists estimate there are approximately 300 sextillion planets (3 × 10²³) in the observable universe. This number is so large that it is more than the number of all the grains of sand on Earth.
These numbers are constantly being refined as technology improves, such as with data from the James Webb Space Telescope and other missions
Jesus, as Son of God could have come from any of these worlds, else He would not have told us that in His Father’s house there are many mansions here:

Here is my independent answer to this riddle I wrote some time ago.

Absolutely superb explanation never found in Google or anywhere else..
Your explanation Dr Lim is simply out of this world into another world where Jesus disappeared to where He was given those supernatural divine powers during His 18 missing years and returned to this world to demonstrate where He came from "My kingdom is not from this world" as He admitted
You truly have very independent and analytical thinking of your own, a hallmark of a research scientist from those prestigious universities where you received your education
Congratulations. I shall keep your explanation
