About Me

A True Doctor is One Who Teaches, The Best Healer is Your Own Body: Lim Ju Boo BSc, MD, Postgrad Dip Nutrition, MSc, PhD (Medicine) FRSPH, FRSM, Post-doctoral Evolution (Cambridge), Post-doctoral Astronomy (Oxford) 2019, Post-doctoral Forensic Science (Cambridge) 2020. Born in Malaya to both Chinese parents from China. Dr. JB Lim (who prefers to present himself as just simple JB Lim) entered universities under British scholarships, graduated with a B.Sc. in Medical Physiology, Chemistry and Zoology, an MD, a Postgrad. Dip in Nutrition, an M.Sc. in Food Quality Control, and a PhD in Medicine. His Alma mater are the Universities of Calcutta, London, Reading, Cambridge, and Oxford. JB Lim then worked for a year at MIT in a collaborative research project on Myco-toxins and Liver Diseases in SE Asia, before joining the Institute for Medical Research, Malaysia. He has published over 70 papers. After retirement from the Institute for Medical Research in 1994, he served as Trainer in Emergency Medicine and Trauma Care for St. John Ambulance of Malaysia as its Regional Staff Officer. He was a former member of the Panel of Experts for the Post-Doctoral Scholars Award Foundation. He gives lectures and talks on invitations.
